Terri Franklin from Snowflake, AZ successfully fended off the arrest of HER DOG by a local cop responding to a call of a mean spirited pit bull inside someone’s car.
“Officer Whipple proceeds to demand my driver’s license. I, of course, refuse, as I have done nothing wrong and then ask him if I am under arrest?” Franklin wrote on her Facebook page.
“So am I under arrest?” Franklin asked the officer.
“No, but your dog is,” says the cop, who then proceeded to claim that he could take her pet on the grounds it was ‘vicious’ and ‘large’. It wasn’t hot that day, so that excuse to harass would have been out of the question.
In the end, it wasn’t the dog that left the encounter with its tail between its legs….
