Terri Franklin from Snowflake, AZ successfully fended off the arrest of HER DOG by a local cop responding to a call of a mean spirited pit bull inside someone’s car.
“Officer Whipple proceeds to demand my driver’s license. I, of course, refuse, as I have done nothing wrong and then ask him if I am under arrest?” Franklin wrote on her Facebook page.
Refus Holloway, a 5-year Air Force veteran, was attempting to break up a fight at a relative’s house when the police showed up and, instead of assessing the scene properly and looking at the military ID Holloway attempted to show, Holloway was handcuffed, beaten, dragged through the dirt and pepper sprayed.
The cop committing the brutality, officer William Escobar, has been fired. Holloway is now suing the police department.
No other cops have been disciplined, despite looking on and doing nothing to stop the abuse.
